Premier Sports is a sports television channel, operated by the Luxembourg-registered Premier Media S.à r.l., broadcasting in the United Kingdom. Premier Sports launched in August 2010 to primarily facilitate out of market premium sports content to audiences in the United Kingdom. The channel is available through subscription in over 16 million homes via the SKY (in HD), Virgin and TalkTalk platforms. We are also available in every home in HD via our online Premier Player. Our focus is on Rugby League, Ice Hockey, Motorsports, GAA, MMA and Football from The Belgian Pro League and South America. We are delighted to be able to bring fans over 1000 events per year including every game from the NRL season in Australia, 15 games per week from the NHL and every minute of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series from North America. The channel was also proud to be the main host broadcaster for 23 of the 28 matches from the very successful Rugby League World Cup that took place in England and Wales during 2013.
